To receive a loan, one must be in a Plan Fund group and have successfully completed our Financial Literacy and Business Basics training courses. Our organization’s philosophy is individual loan accountability within a group support framework. Interest rates vary from 9-12% depending on credit history.
Level One Loans – Group Support
First- time applicants are eligible to receive a Level 1 Loan ranging from $500 to a maximum of $1,200.
Borrowers are required to participate in a bi-weekly group support training/structure.
Successful Level 1 borrowers are eligible to receive Level 2 Loans ranging from $750 to $2,000. Documentation demonstrating how prior loans were used and financial reports showing cash flow, expenses, revenues and profit will be required.
Level Two Loans – Individual Loans
Successful repeat borrowers with 2+ year experience with PLAN Fund
Loan ceilings are from $2,000 to $4,000. Loan amount is based upon borrower's business plan, history of repayment/group attendance, personal credit performance, and asset accumulation pledged as collateral.
