Starting in 1999 The PLAN Fund has been committed to making a positive difference in the lives of working class entrepreneurs. The PLAN Fund is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist entrepreneurs to achieve success in starting and or expanding their small businesses. Our program's underlying goal is to increase our member's economic self sufficiency through entrepreneurship by developing sustainable businesses. Through May 2008 we have distributed 473 business loans worth almost $700,000 our average loan size is $1,475.
The PLAN Fund combines a 15 hour hands on entrepreneur training class, a dynamic peer-support program and micro-credit. The hub of PLAN Fund activity occurs at our business centers which are located in parts of Dallas with less economic development. With the help of The PLAN Fund our entrepreneurs can increase their standard of living, create jobs for their communities, build financial assets and achieve their business dreams of supporting themselves in a small business.

Business Basics for Entrepreneurs - The PLAN Fund is pleased to announce the dates of our new and improved, 2-day training course:
August 23rd and 30th at Hispanic Chamber of Commerce - RSVP here
The training fee is only $40 per person. The course focuses on making entrepreneurs with either start-up or existing businesses more successful. Topic covered include financial management, marketing, and business plans.
