How to Become a PLAN Fund Entrepreneur

PLAN Fund offers entrepreneurs much more than access to business loans. Our members are connected to a network of like-minded entrepreneurs who support each other and make critical business-to-business connections. PLAN Fund offers business training and a variety business support services including: Support and fraternity of PF Group

• Business courses and trade fairs at off-site locations
• Access to credit repair and IDA saving program through our partner organizations
• Online directory
• Referrals to other PF partner organizations such as ACCION, YWCA, Women's Southwest Federal Credit Bureau, etc.

All this is done to provide entrepreneurs with the tools they need to be successful.

Need a little help with your business?

Business Training

PLAN Fund provides members with regular classes and special workshops on a variety of business topics. Participants also have access to PLAN Fund staff members who can provide technical assistance and refer members to more specialized training.

Mentorship Program

Member entrepreneurs are matched to appropriate mentors. Mentors should have regular (weekly) communication with our entrepreneurs. Mentors provide support to our member in various aspects of their business, including assisting with completing their business loan application.

Membership Groups

Our entrepreneurs become members of business support groups made up of 4-8 members. Members select group members based on trust, compatibility, and business expertise. Groups serve a variety of functions, including providing business leads, networking, emotional support/ encouragement, and review of group members’ loan applications for feedback and comments.
