The PLAN Fund is a non-profit organization that has been making a positive difference in the lives of the working entrepreneurs since 1999.Our mission is to assist entrepreneurs in achieving success in starting and expanding their small businesses and increase our members’ financial self-sufficiency.
By 2009 we have distributed more than 511 business loans worth $763,000. Our average loan size is about $1,500. The PLAN Fund has provided business basics training for entrepreneurs to nearly 2,900 people.
PF micro-lending programs are designed to provide small business owners credit options that are otherwise unavailable with commercial banks. PLAN Fund loans range from $500-$6,000 at interest rates between 9-13.5%.
